A pre-accredited or accredited program or course at a Learn Local organisation can give you the skills and knowledge you need to enter the hospitality industry or retail sector.

There are many different career opportunities available in hospitality and retail. You could become a porter, barista, waiter or housekeeping attendant. You may wish to work in a retail business, shop, café, bar or hotel.

Pre-accredited hospitality and retail courses are a great way to get an introduction to a particular area of interest such as food service and handling, workplace health and safety or customer service.  This way you can test out whether this area is one in which you would like to undertake more study or get a qualification in order to get a job.

You can also complete an accredited hospitality or retail qualification, such as a Diploma in Hospitality Management, where you will learn more comprehensive information about the relevant area to help you find work.

Learn Local organisations offer flexible courses that meet your individual needs.
