Finalists revealed for 2014 Victorian Learn Local Awards

The finalists for the 2014 Victorian Learn Local Awards have been revealed. From Forgotten Australians to youth teaching older people how to use a computer, there is a wide range of learners, practitioners and organisations across Victoria that are in the running to win a share of the $50,000 prize money (Finalists 2014).

The Awards are held annually by the Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board to recognise the inspirational efforts of learners, practitioners and training providers in the Learn Local education and training sector.

The 2014 Awards are being held on Thursday 28 August 2014 from 6.30pm at the St Kilda Town Hall. The evening promises to be a memorable one, with an inspiring line-up of award finalists – past and present – as well as entertainment, great food and creative services, all sourced from the Learn Local sector.
